Where does AI usage go?
Standalone installations use the provider accounts and keys you choose. Assisted and Managed plans include a monthly allowance for Run Edit Run management and update work; that allowance does not cover your edition's customer-facing AI or selected external services. Those costs remain with the provider accounts used for the installation.
What about local agents?
Codex and Claude CLI subscriptions are separate from these plans. Connect a local computer when you want local agent work, and keep the provider subscription and permissions under your control. Unused plan allowance does not create automatic overage or a rollover promise.
